Privacy Policy
Options Trainer does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. There is no account, no server, and no analytics. This page explains what that means in detail.
Data we collect
None. The app has no registration, no login, and no user profile. It does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or any device identifier.
Data stored on your device
To remember where you left off, the app saves a small amount of information
in your device's local application storage, under the key prefix
gextrainer::
- the interface language you selected
- your score in the current run
- whether you have seen the introduction screens
This information never leaves your device. It is not readable by us or by anyone else, it is not backed up to any service we operate, and it is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data.
Network connections
The app makes no network requests. All content — lessons, translations, charts, fonts, and images — is contained in the installed application. Options Trainer works with the device in airplane mode and never contacts any server, including ours.
Third parties
The app contains no advertising networks, no analytics or telemetry frameworks, no crash reporting services, and no social media integrations. No data is sold, rented, or shared with anyone, because no data is collected.
Purchases
Options Trainer is sold as a one-time purchase through the Microsoft Store and Google Play. Payment is handled entirely by those stores; we never see your payment details. The stores' own privacy policies apply to that transaction: Microsoft Privacy Statement and Google Privacy Policy.
Children
The app is intended for adults. It is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, regardless of age.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, and portability regarding personal data held about you. We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, or delete. You can remove everything the app has stored locally by uninstalling it or clearing its application data in your system settings.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of the app introduces a feature that requires data — for example an optional cloud backup of your progress — this page will be updated before that version is released, and the change will be described in the app's release notes.
